Nely, LMT

​

Nely has been a Licensed Clinical Massage Therapist for over 17 years. She has practiced in the medical field primarily with Chiropractors for over 15 years. Nely has been a member of the Tilson Chiropractic FamilyCare team since 2016 and is the Massage Event Coordinator. 

 

Nely has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology University of Illinois at Chicago which focuses on exercise physiology, cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility. This insight into how tissue responds to physical activity allows her to provide custom sports massages that are highly effective for each individual client.

Nely is also experienced in pre-natal and deep tissue massages. She has received training in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, which focuses on various ways to specifically target soft tissue in order to significantly decrease pain and increase range of motion.

 

Nely is a bilingual (English / Spanish) Licensed Clinical Massage Therapist, graduating from The Soma Institute of Chicago. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). She is a proponent of continuing education, regularly taking courses in advanced techniques.
